I visited Monty’s Spice Route Café with my sister, and we were so impressed! The food is absolutely authentic when it comes to desi flavours. We tried the pani puri and the samosa chaat along with coffee — and honestly, the samosa chaat was the best we’ve ever had. The café itself has such a cosy, welcoming atmosphere, and the owner is incredibly lovely and friendly, which made the experience even more enjoyable. We asked about breakfast, and he mentioned they’ll likely be starting it in a few weeks — so we’re already looking forward to coming back! Highly recommend for anyone looking for genuine taste and a warm environment

this place is amazing the food quality is 10/10 me and my boyfriend went for lunch here and would 100% recommend! we had 2 paninis and loaded masala fries and they were phenomenal!!! this place also has good prices on everything as-well even more of a bargain , we will be back again soon ! monty the man who owns the business is also a very friendly man and is very welcoming . we took a picture of the paninis but forgot to take a picture of the fries before we demolished them .

Remember Monty from his old shop from many years ago, so thought I would give it a try and I definitely wasn’t disappointed! I had a chicken tikka panini and samosas chaat! The food was tasty and full of flavour, all made fresh. Food was made quickly and service was amazing. The portions are big and the pricing is great too. I had a take away this time but will definitely be back to dine in and try other things on the menu! Highly recommend this place, something different for Redditch!

I came all the way from Germany just to try this café – and it was worth every mile! From the very first bite, you can tell that everything here is cooked with real love and passion. The Masala Chips were wonderfully crispy and full of flavor, the Gol Gappe fresh, light, and simply delicious! The Reshmi Kebab and Malai Sheesh Kebab were incredibly tender, juicy, and bursting with aroma. And the Lamb Rogan Josh was my absolute highlight – so soft, richly spiced, and perfectly balanced in taste! The café has a cozy atmosphere, and the staff are warm and attentive.
